Zaireeka…. That was one of the weirdest things that I have ever experienced, but it was cool. It was really interesting to try and piece everything together from the four cd’s. The first instance it played and it counted the 1,2,3,4 from a different cd caught me off guard. It was kind of disorienting when you could hear a different instrument playing from each different cd player. Then there was a long random scream that just “wierded” me out, that one made some other people even look around and try to figure out what the heck was going on. On the third track it sounded like a space shuttle was taking off with kind of a deep rumble but later it came to sound like jet’s flying over a stadium. The fourth track was my favorite with the old school acoustic guitar but later went into this like X-Files theme music coming from Gary’s cd player. The seventh track kind of opened up and it sounded like we were outside a Wal*Mart or something and the Salvation Army Santa Clauses were out there ringing their bells, but the track later on went into this sweet drum solo that was really awesome. On this final track towards the end with all the dogs barking and going crazy made me thing of Mike Vick and his Pitbulls. Overall it was a really cool experience, even though for a while it gave me a headache just because I was trying to get used to the sounds and music from four different directions, kind of like a really big surround sound system.
